Tutorial: Seductive Cat-Eye Look

In her second tutorial, beauty blogger Charlotte of PinkySally.de - the beautiful side of life – shows you how to create a perfect and long-lasting winged eyeliner.
This classic and clean look becomes smoky, mysterious and ultra-feminine by choosing a blue eye-liner and soft blue shades – instead of going for the usual white, grey, and black.

Seductive Look ‘Soft Blue Cat-Eye’ How to

Step 1
Start by applying the Long-lasting Eye Shadow in ’Lilac Reef Curassow’ – a pale, iridiscent blue-ish lilac – to the eyelids. It will create a shimmery, long-lasting base for the cool and smoky effect of this look. The colour is so subtle that it will suit every eye colour.

Step 2
Apply the dark lead-grey ’Trumpeter Koel’ neatly to the crease and blend well to create depth. The trick to a perfect blending here is to use a clean brush dipped in the Long-lasting Matt Eye Shadow in ‘Papyrus Canary’.

Step 3
With the Satin Eyeliner in ’Blue Roan’ – a gorgeous midnight petrol blue with a silky finish – draw a winged line. Its calligraphic applicator helps you define the perfect cat-eye angle.

Step 4
Using the Eye Khol in ’Vera’, a creamy frosted blue, draw a line along your lower lashes. Smudge the line softly to create a smoky finish.

Step 5
Choose a black mascara that can be easily layered, like the Rouge Bunny Rouge Modelling Mascara in ‘Midnight’, and apply two coats.

Step 6
To highlight the subtle blue tones of this look, choose a transparent, lightweight blush and a sheer lipstick or a lip gloss in cool pastel shades of pink and lavender.
