Guest Post: Berry-red lips & cheeks

Make-up artist Marina, founder and editor of beauty and lifestyle blog and online beauty magazine 'Makeup4all', helps you create a berry-red lips look - one of the hottest seasonal trends.

Red and Berry lips and cheeks with Rouge Bunny Rouge Makeup4all

What can be trendier than berry-red lips during winter?

It's a cult classic for a reason, and it is the look that you can always see on the AW Runway shows!

Want to try it yourself? Here are some Rouge Bunny Rouge products that you could try to achieve the look!

But before we start, please make sure that your complexion looks flawless, you can read some of my tips here: Guest Post: From Runway to Real Way.

Is there anything more beautiful than a perfect full-on red lip? It guarantees the "wow-effect", for that try Rouge Bunny Rouge Colour Burst Lipstick HUES OF ENCHANTMENT in 'Raw Silence' which is an opaque, satin, almost glossy true red. Just be very precise with your application, better use a brush and you can always make the edges even sharper and more defined by using the concealer around your lips, post application.

If, for some reason, you are not brave enough for a statement red lip, but still want to embrace the seasonal lip look - try  Sheer Lipstick SUCCULENCE OF DEW in 'Murmurings' (it is my personal favourite lip product from the brand).  You can create that sheer glossy effect with it, which looks youthful and beautiful. Plus the formula feels nicely moisturizing, which is exactly what you want for colder months.

Not a fan of glossy or satin finish? Rouge Bunny Rouge got this covered as well! Long-lasting Lip Pencil FOREVER YOURS... in 'Marco' which is a pure matte, medium cool raspberry, is a perfect option. It can be used not only as a lip liner, but also as a lipstick all over the lips, for a gorgeous velvety matte finish which lasts for hours!

What about the cheeks?

The best variants for the healthy flushed cheeks would be Original Skin Blush FOR LOVE OF ROSES in 'Florita' (which is currently on sale, hint hint) and Blush Wand CHEEKS IN BLOOM in 'Rubens'.

The first one is a powder blusher which is smooth and finely milled, so it blends seamlessly into the skin and leaves you with a gorgeous natural looking reddish/raspberry flush. As if you just had a long walk and that is the result. This blush is as good as it gets. 'Rubens' gives a lovely sheer coverage and doesn't feel greasy or oily on the skin, and the shade is a bit warmer than 'Florita'. Both blushers are amazing, it depends on what finish you prefer.
